Kutná Hora UNESCO Tour

A trip an hour drive southeast from Prague to town of Kutná Hora will take you to very well preserved medieval city, former center of silver minting and minting, a city included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and to a surprising Bone Chapel, entirely decorated with human bones.

I will gladly pick you up at a place of your stay by private vehicle with a professional fully licensed driver. We will drive for about an Hour and half to Kutná Hora. Along the way you can enjoy the picturesque countryside of south Bohemia.

Four hours spent exploring the city gives us a decent time to discover all beauties of monuments and listen to stories the city has to offer. First we will stop at Bone Chapel at a vicinity of Kutná Hora, whose decoration is made up of the bones of thousands of inhabitants of the city and victims of the plague. This unusual decoration was created in the spirit of an ancient message reminding us that death is inevitable, and therefore earthly life can become a gateway to a posthumous paradise. Later we will walk through the streets of a very well-preserved medieval town built in the Gothic style, around the residences of nobles rich in silver mining. An interesting tour of the Italian Court awaits us with the Royal Mint and a demonstration of coinage. We will not miss the Cathedral of St. Barbara on the way for lunch, we will wander around the local interesting shops in the medieval streets.

At the end of our tour we will have lunch in a cozy restaurant decorated in the spirit of the life of a local native a Renaissance nobleman, chronicler and lover of good wine Dačický. Here you can taste selected and popular traditional Czech dishes prepared according to old Czech recipes.
While driving home for 90 minutes, you can relax and enjoy the experience of visiting the charming town of Kutná Hora.
